Biography:Senior university leader, executive board member, published author, serial entrepreneur, public speaker, and international consultant, Prof. Dr. Franco Gandolfi is currently the Distinguished Professor in Management at the California Institute of Advanced Management (CIAM) in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Gandolfi previously served as the Inaugural Campus Director and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (PVC) of Iqra University’s Bahria Town Campus in Karachi, Pakistan, as CEO of Lancaster University in Ghana, and as a Member of the Executive Board of the Nguyen Hoang Group (NHG), a conglomerate of business units in the education space in Vietnam. Prior to his roles in Pakistan, Ghana, and Vietnam, he served as the Vice-Chancellor (VC) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Manipal International University (MIU) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Previously, he had held deanships and senior professorial appointments at the Canadian University of Dubai, UAE, the University of the South Pacific, Fiji, California Baptist University in Riverside, California, and Central Queensland University in Sydney, Australia. Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Franco Gandolfi holds a full professorship in leadership with Georgetown University in Washington DC, one of the world’s most renowned research universities.
Biography: Sarena Abdullah, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Art History at the School of the Arts, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). She was awarded the inaugural London, Asia Research Award, by Paul-Mellon Centre, London and Asian Art Archive, Hong Kong in 2017. She was also the recipient of the 2016 and 2017 & 2019 CAA-Getty Travel Grant as part of the CAA-Getty International and Reunion Program. She is the author of Malaysian Art since the 1990s: Postmodern Situation (2018) and co-editor of a publication of Southeast Asian Art entitled Ambitious Alignments: New Histories of Southeast Asian Art 1945-1990 (2018). She had written extensively on Malaysian art on various academic journals and other platforms.
Biography:Prof. Vishalache Balakrishnan is working at Universiti Malaya (UM). Completed Degree in TESL, minor Moral Education followed by Masters in Education, majoring in Moral Education in University of Malaya. Completed PhD in Education in Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. Completed post doctoral studies in Inclusive and Critical Educational Psychology in The Waikato University, New Zealand. Strongly passionate about helping teachers to upgrade themselves in the teaching profession through training, research and publication in holistic education and service learning. Currently, She is holding the post of SULAM @ Service Learning Malaysia-University for Society coordinator in Universiti Malaya. Been working diligently with the internal Service Learning coordinators from the 16 faculties in Universiti Malaya. Initiating Service Learning International for 21 Century Education.
